Join us for a Father's Day Celebration!!!

The Historic Round Barn & Farm Market is having a special day for fathers and other antique engine and tractor enthusiasts from 11am-5pm on Father's Day.

Come and enjoy...  

Music: Klinger McFry, a local Americana Band will be sure to delight all listeners with music from artists like Hank Williams to the Grateful Dead and all points in between.

Machines: As your ears take pleasure in the music, let your eyes take pleasure in an antique engine display provided by the South Mountain Antique Engine Association and

Stanley Wolf's 1955 Cockshutt Blackhawk 40.

Stanley Wolf, a local antique tractor collector and re-builder will also be there with his Blackhawk tractor. The Blackhawk is former President Dwight D. Eisenhower's original tractor that he used on his Gettysburg Farm. Stanley will be on hand with the tractor to sign his book, "Ike: Gettysburg's Gentleman Farmer."

1st Annual Dog Days of Summer Fundraiser

The Historic Round Barn & Farm Market and the Adams County SPCA invite you and YOUR PET to the Dog Days of Summer Fundraiser at the Historic Round Barn & Farm Market. Help us raise money for the Adams County SPCA while at the same time enjoying the dog days of summer with your special companion.

We'll have lots going on, including dog training demonstrations and free evaluations provided by local professional dog trainers. Be sure to check out the Clean Break Fly Ball team as well as dogs dancing and running the agility course. You'll be able to visit the SPCA's dogs available for adoption and see a police K-9 unit in action. Also, learn about local service dogs, therapy dogs, and animal rescue organizations, and gain some valuable knowledge from local veterinarian Deborah Flake. But that's not all, we'll have multiple vendors out selling delicious, healthy, all natural, homemade dog and cat food and treats. Plenty of shade and water will be provided.

Make it a day for the dogs (& cats)!!!!

  

Money and Supplies donations will be accepted for the Adams County SPCA

Johnny Appleseed, born John Chapman (September 26, 1774) in Leominster, Massachusetts was an American pioneer nurseryman. He is credited with establishing apple tree nurseries and orchards in the early 1800's as he traveled and explored new territories.
